At myCNAjobs we work with thousands of companies in the space to overcome the challenges of Caregiver recruitment. This gives our staff a unique vantage point to the industry. With this front row seat we’re able to see what’s going on across the country in home care recruitment. We can see who’s winning, who’s not - and most importantly - why?
We sat down with Ryan Hodgen, Training and Onboarding Manager here at myCNAjobs to answer some common questions about recruiting Caregivers and CNAs.Check out his response in the quick video below. Today’s question is:
“What’s another common mistake my agency can avoid?”
“There’s about a 72 hour window to get a Caregiver to your door to interview them. And unfortunately a lot of times I see offices that only have a few little blocks each week where they’re able to receive interviews. So if you’re able to be as open handed as you can for having caregivers come in to interview with your office, I think you’ll be on better footing.”
