We sat down with Ryan Hodgen, Training and Onboarding Manager here at myCNAjobs to answer some common questions about recruiting Caregivers and CNAs.Check out his response in the quick video below. Today’s question is: 

What are some unique employee benefits you’ve seen have success?” 

“Agencies are always curious about benefits beyond standard hard benefits, you know, your pay, health plan, 401k. And yes those things are very important, we can’t understate that, but it’s also true, and what we’ve found at myCNAjobs is that Caregivers are also interested in those softer benefits that you’re able to offer. Some of the more unique things that I’ve heard are social opportunities for Caregivers on your roster. Whether that takes the form of a monthly company picnic or some sort of outing. Additionally monthly employee recognition programs are another great benefit. One other benefit that I’ve seen in areas - particularly in areas where there's a real disparity between where Caregivers live and where cases are located - I’m starting to see agencies offer gas and mileage reimbursement.”
